George and Stephen, sittin' in a tree...

I just wanted to post this quote from the Washington Times the CBC aired tonight. Seems that (at least according to the Post) that Georgie would like nothing better than to gain a Robin to his Batman on Terrorism, and Harper is the boy wonder he's hoping for:

"Harper... is pro-free trade, pro-Iraq war, anti-Kyoto, and socially conservative. Move over Tony Blair: If elected, Mr. Harper will quickly become Mr. Bushes new best friend internationally and the poster boy for his ideal foreign leader."

That statement is laden with so many things that piss me off its amazing. Not only does it read like a list of reasons why anyone with half a brain SHOULDN'T vote for Stephen Harper, it proves one thing: George Bush Jr. thinks Canada is a joke. Moreover, he sees lesser countries as Extreme Makeover candidates where he can force his rediculously retroactive view of the world on everyone else.
