If you get hired by a law firm to "provide advice to companies" on how to approach government; or for your "wealth of experience and connections", that makes you a lobbyist. You can play with the words all you want, but that's what you are.
Boy, for a party that campaigned so hard on government accountability, that's three strikes in less than one month. Let's recap shall we.
1. Appointing an unelected citizen as a cabinet minister, after a sketchy Senate appointment.
2. Having a cabinet minister that jumped ship from the Liberals at the 11th hour, thereby becoming an MP that no longer represents the wishes of those who voted for him.
3. Having a party insider, election campaign orchestrator, and former MP become a lobbyist despite your party's key campaign promise to bring in legislation to counter that sort of thing.
Yeah Stephen, I'm counting.
