Think OSAP would cover this?

Indiana State University is to become the first school to require all students to have a laptop. Starting in 2007, all students in that freshmen year will need a notebook. But don't worry, the school has already worked out a deal for them with IMB/Lenovo.

The first? No. Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, has required laptops for its undergrads for years (since 1996, I think). www.acadiau.ca/advantage

Plus, I'm relatively certain that other Canadian schools have required laptops in certain faculties (business, for example).
