"TTC staff voted overwhelmingly to reject the most recent contract offer. TTC staff also endorsed strike action if an agreement can’t be reached."

I WANT MY 9 BILLION BACK! This quasi-public/private corporation is as bad as it gets. When will a responsible journalist get down and dirty with this story? How much are we expected to take?!

The TTC essentially has the city by the short hairs (the TTC moves over 1 million people to work and school everyday); and as such is acting like a bully. It's time for the province to step in and make the bully sit in time-out for a while. I say, nationalize the TTC! Well, maybe not, but this has got to stop. Every year: we're broke! we can't afford to buy brand new buses again this year! i can't afford to buy that second car/cottage in Muskoka/trip to Fiji... enough!
