Last.fm

This is a (to me at least) fairly new internet radio station(s), and its pretty dope.  Its communal, which means it works almost like launchcast (see my previous rants as to why Launchcast bites it).  You type in a few names of artists you like, and bam! You’re linked up with people who have similar tastes.  Add ‘em to your list, and your radio station starts to grow.  You can also search by radio station genre, and user tags.  I’m not explaining it really well, but head over to Last.fm and check it out.  You can download their player, or a plugin for iTunes, WMP, whatever.  The sound quality is quiet good for streaming radio too!

My only complaint – you can’t add artists directly to your own personal station without paying for the service.  No biggie if you don’t mind $36/year to get all kinds of goodies, including your own station.
