Global Warming and the Weather.

We all know the theory that global warming is leading to all sorts of problems, the hurricane in New Orleans being one of them. But how much do we actually know about the relationship with rising global temperatures and violent weather? Is it really a factor, or are global conditions just "lining up" in some coincidental way? Since modern weather tracking is a relatively new thing (in terms of the age of the planet), we really have no idea if what has been happening in the last decade is directly related to human intervention, or just part of a larger cycle in the planet's atmosphere.

Sounds convincing right?

I for one have no trouble believing that our pollution is causing all sorts of havoc with global ecological systems - and that includes the weather. This article in E-magazine discusses the topic of global warming and hurricanes. Check it out here.
