The Mayor is mad as Hell.

Whoa.  It’s about damn time someone started using real language, rather than typical political double-speak.  I think the mayor is completely justified in being pissed off.  The BBC has a rather chilling collection of stories about what is going in New Orleans right now: rapes, looting, murders.  Most police offices have turned in their badges.  Youth think calling congress back might be a good idea?  Bush doesn’t think so.  Canada seems more coordinated on a response than the US.  How messed up is that?

You HAVE to listen to the audio interview at the bottom of the story.  It really lets you know how large this event is, and how badly the federal government is under-reacting.
