Crisis Averted (not really).

So, without much fanfare, the TTC reached a settlement with the city late tonight. I am suprised, not really. This was a cash grab, plain and simple. The TTC union knows it can play these sort of games with the people of Toronto because of its value to people and business in the city. I still wonder wether or not this was in the plan all along. It wouldn't suprise me to see that it was. I mean, this played out like a bad drama flick, with the worst being prevented at the last possible moment. And for what, a few dollars an hour. Remeber that next time you see those ads in the Subway talking about how wonderful and helpful TTC employees are.
